Stiebel Eltron Mini compact tankless point-of-use models excel at supplying warm water at a constant temperature for hand washing at a sink. They are ideal for residential or commercial hand-washing sink applications. The model must be carefully matched to the flow rate of the sink for proper operation. Mini tankless water heaters heat water instantaneously and endlessly at 99% efficiency as it flows through the unit. Unlike tank water heaters, they save energy because they have no stand-by energy losses. The sleek, small design allows installation with the unit visible. Venting is unnecessary.   • Mini 6-2 is designed to provide warm water around 90 degrees to 100 degrees for hand washing at a high flow (1 GPM) lavatory sink
  • Mini 6-2 is shipped with a 1.0 GPM pressure compensating flow reducer/aerator that fits most faucets and should be installed
  • Excels at supplying warm water at a constant temperature for hand washing at a sink but must be carefully matched to the flow rate of the sink to operate properly
  • Requires hard-wired 240 or 208 volt electric service, 1 dedicated 25 amp breaker, 10 gauge copper wiring, and has 3/8" compression plumbing connections
  • Not designed for use at a kitchen sink or a shower, or as a booster heater for any application
  • Because venting is not necessary, installation can be near the sink to save water and wait time for hot water
  • Can be installed above or below the sink with water fittings pointing either up or down
