Peach Contender trees yields medium to large red fruit, both juicy and sweet. Excellent choice for northern gardens, but grows equally well into zone 8. Exceptional hardy variety which is disease-resistant to bacterial spot. For optimal performance; rooting, growing, fruiting and to keep its height in check it is grafted/budded onto Prunus persicca root stock which makes it a premium tree.
