This Pentek 151039 Pressure Relief Button Kit provides pressure relief in filter housings for easier cartridge replacement. It is installed in the inlet side of the housing cap. This pressure relief button kit is for Pentek Standard, Slim Line, Big Blue, and Big Clear filter housings, which are used in a wide variety of applications, including drinking water purification, irrigation, and industrial processes, among others. Water filters remove undesirable particles, chemicals, and microorganisms from water by means of a semi permeable barrier, adsorption, or biological processes. They are made of densely packed synthetic or natural fibers that trap suspended particles, materials that block microbes or adsorb unwanted chemicals, or substances that cause a chemical change, such as acid neutralization.
