Honeycrisp Reachable Apple Tree is a hardy, small-sized tree that bears crisp, sweet, 3 in. fruit. Although it can be planted in the landscape, its smaller size also makes it suitable for a container garden. Because it is a Reachable Fruit tree, its more manageable than a full-sized apple tree 1 person can prune, spray, net and harvest the tree while standing on the ground. It has been a flavor favorite since it was introduced in 1991 by the University of Minnesota. Requiring some extra care to grow, it tends to bear a heavy crop every 2-years, producing as much as a half bushel of crispy, sweet apples.
