One of the most graceful evergreens. Trees are pyramidal in for when young becoming pendulous pyramidal with age. The foliage (needles) is short, deep green with two white bands on the underside of each needle. Mature height is 40 to 70 ft. tall and 25 to 35 ft. spread. Useful as a specimen tree, grouping or a clipped hedge. Grow in full sun or light shade in moist well-drained soil. Tolerant of alkaline soils. USDA hardiness zone 3 to zone 7.
