Scarlet Maple is a dependable tree that is adapted to the urban environment. Sturdy and resistant to wind damage, it is also tolerant of drought, wet conditions and pollution. Its leaves are emerald green until fall, when they turn a brilliant fiery red-orange. The tree grows to about 50 ft. to 60 ft. tall and often lives for about 150-years.
