Dimensions Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product and one of the most versatile building materials available on the market today. It’s attractive appearance, smooth feel and consistent surface makes it ideal for painted shelving and storage cabinets and offers the perfect surface for veneer application. However, only use non-aerosol paint that will not soak into the wood. Do not use MDF in applications where moisture or humidity are present. When working with and cutting MDF, work outside and wear a particle mask, as MDF produces a fine-powdered, airborne dust. If you’re looking for a natural wood appearance, try Dimensions Sande Plywood. And, as always, all Dimensions plywood comes from sustainably managed forests and is CARB2 Compliant.
