Wireless Door/Window and Temperature Sensor

The Fibaro Door Window and Temperature Sensor is a wireless, battery powered, Z-Wave Plus compatible magnetic contact sensor. Changing the devices status will automatically send a signal to the Z-Wave controller and associated devices. The sensor can be used to trigger scenes and wherever there is a need for information about opening or closing of doors, windows, garage doors, etc. Opening is detected by separating the sensors body and the magnet. Any report that's sent from the sensor to your network uses an encrypted signal. The device features tamper protection for extra security. And as a bonus, Fibaro put a temperature sensor inside this smart device so you can make sure every room is at your comfort level. Just stick the sensor and magnet to any door or window frame and add the device to your hub in 2 easy steps. Its miniature design allows the sensor to be mounted wherever you need open/close monitoring. It's so efficient, it will last 2 years on a single battery (included). This sensor will work great with any open Z-Wave system like SmartThings, Vera, Nexia, Home Center Lite, or HomeSeer. It is NOT supported by Wink or alarm panels (ADT Pulse, Vivint, Alarm.com, and others). This is the Z-Wave version and is not for Apple HomeKit.
