This sliding window lock is constructed of an extruded aluminum housing with a diecast cam-action lever, and it comes in an aluminum colored finish. The design of this lock is manufactured to fit on older style, metal framed windows – usually of single pane glass, with a maximum fin thickness of 3/16 in. For vinyl windows consider using Prime-Line model numbers U-9809 or U-10547. This lock can be used to securely lock windows in closed or ventilating positions.
