DIG's Button Drippers feature labyrinth water flow paths that allow for a consistent flow rate from each dripper at an incoming pressure of 15 to 25 psi with higher discharge at higher pressures and lower discharge at lower pressures. Chemical and clog resistant, the drippers are an economical choice for systems with short lengths of drip tubing. The drippers can be installed by punching a hole into the 1/2 in. drip tubing and snapping the barbed side of the dripper into the 1/2 in. drip tubing, or you can extend the drippers into the plants with 1/4 in. micro tubing or distribution tubing. We do not recommend extending 1/4 in. micro tubing from the button drip emitter nipple to the plant area. With this dripper we highly recommended adding a 3/4 in. screen filter to protect it from clogging and a 25 psi pressure regulator to lower the incoming pressure to the suggested operating pressure for a drip system.
