This Tub Safety Bar is designed to work with straight wall tub aprons and provides 2 primary gripping surfaces at different heights to make getting in and out of the bathtub easier. Unlike a suction cup grab bar, the Multi-Grip Tub Safety Bar isn't dependent on flimsy suction cups because it affixes to the tub apron. The mobile, non-permanent design means it's not attached to the wall and can easily be removed when it's not no longer needed.
