Solid Braid nylon is a great all-purpose rope. Nylon is a rot and mildew resistant, strong, durable, and UV resistant. Solid braid nylon will not unravel when cut compared to twisted rope. There are limited used for solid braid nylon such as flagpoles, clotheslines, starter cords, crafts, tie downs, etc.
