The NCVT-2 kit from Klein Tools includes a dual-range, non-contact voltage tester as well as a receptacle tester. The NCVT-2 automatically detects and indicates low voltage (12 - 48VAC) and standard voltage (48 - 1000VAC) allowing for broad application. The RT105 will troubleshoot standard 120-VAC grounded outlets. It features a low-battery indicator so that you know when it's time to re-power the device for maximum performance.

  • NCVT-2 provides non-contact detection of standard voltage in cables, cords, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets and wires
  • NCVT-2 also provides non-contact detection of low voltage in security, entertainment, communications, environmental control, and irrigation systems
  • High intensity, bright green or blue LED indicates the NCVT-2 tester is operational and aids in illuminating the workspace
  • Conditions the RT105 indicates: wiring correct, open ground, reverse polarity, open hot, open neutral, hot/ground reversed
  • Conditions the RT105 does not indicate: quality of ground, multiple hot wires, combinations of defects, reversal of grounded and grounding conductors
