DeckWise WiseCoat Premium Hardwood Deck, Siding and Fence Sealer is a safe, Low VOC hardwood sealer. Perfect for new or existing hardwood, easy soap and water cleanup, dries quickly and remains in place up to 6 years on horizontal surfaces and up to 10 years on vertical surfaces. This non-toxic, water-based waterproofing wood protector will not harm pets, plants or people and suitable for exteriors and interiors. Designed for maximum protection against water damage, it adds years of life to hardwood projects. This sealer protects preserves and enhances hardwood furniture, steps and railings. Use on all types South American exotic hardwoods, American hardwoods and most types of thermally modified wood. The semi-transparent amber tint functions as a UV blocker preventing hardwoods from graying. This formula utilizes proprietary nanotechnology to produce a breathable barrier against harsh weather conditions. It penetrates the hardwood fibers down at the cellular level providing protection from the inside out preventing cracking and splitting. WiseCoat absorbs deeply, blocking the damaging effects of mold and mildew, dry rot, peeling and cupping. This hardwood waterproofer is non-film forming allowing wood to age naturally. Apply two coats; wet over damp with a sprayer, garden pump, brush or stain pad. Brush out any puddles and let dry 2-3 hours before light foot traffic. Allow 12-24 hours for a full cure.
