The Gama Sonic Aurora solar light fixture in a black finish with bright-white LEDs is the perfect energy-saving and money-saving replacement for electric or gas-powered outdoor lighting. These rust-resistant cast-aluminum solar light features an attractive, contemporary design with a powder-coated black finish and a bubble-glass insert. It comes with all the hardware for 3 styles of mounting: seated on a 3 in. Dia cylindrical lamp post; secured to flat surfaces, such as pillars, columns, and deck rails; or as a wall sconce. No electrical wiring is needed. Just install the light fixture, and let the sun do the rest. The Aurora's internal Lithium Ion battery pack charges when sunlight hits the fixtures integrated solar panel. At dusk, 6 bright-white LEDs will turn on automatically and shine at 50-Lumens for up to 8 hours. Gama Sonic's patented cone reflector enhances the multidirectional light output and glow. Besides light quality, Gama Sonic fixtures are durable. For extra reliability, the monocrystalline silicon solar panel is protected by weather resistant, cleanable tempered glass. And the replaceable, plugged battery pack is good for about 1,000 charges. Recharging speed varies based on weather conditions, but generally it takes about 6 hours of sunlight on the solar panel to achieve a full solar charge of the battery pack.
